The International Defensive Pistol Association is the controlling body of Defensive Pistol shooting.

The IDPA Board of Directors is responsible for governing the sport and the rules.
The IDPA rules are available for download - here.
To allow SADPA to communicate to the members of all clubs, a Yahoo group has been opened. Only SADPA can communicate on this group, thus you need approval to join the group. Any SADPA member is allowed to join the group.

Safety Officers
JDPC will be hosting a Saftey Officer's Training clinic on 16th & 17th April 2011, for experienced and nominated shooters. Please enquire with Christo Blignaut or Paul Rogers for further details.
SADPA is the governing body of Defensive Pistol shooting in Africa. SADPA is also accreditated under the new Firearms Control Act as a Shooting Sport. Through participation in the sport, you can apply to SADPA for Dedicated Sportsperson status. For guidelines on DSS Applications, click - here.
